A SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter is an extended campus unit created in colleges and universities by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Government General Degree College at Kalna-I has been functioning as a Local Chapter of SWAYAM-NPTEL to bring high-quality massive open online courses (MOOCs) to mainstream education.
